
Richard is an actor, writer, musician, producer from Bangor N Ireland. He has worked across Theatre, TV, Film and Radio for over 25 years. He graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in French/Spanish and trained as an actor at the Royal Welsh College, Cardiff. Career highlights include Rhino (Tinderbox, UK Theatre Award Best Revival), playing Jimmy Gralton in Jimmy’s Hall at the Abbey, Rick Turner in “The Fall” and most recently writing and producing his own critically acclaimed one man show, “How to Bury a Dead Mule” for the Edinburgh Fringe 2023. His play “Ottilie”, about the North Down blues singer Ottilie Patterson, has it’s international premiere at the Belfast International Arts Festival 2025 in the Studio at The Grand Opera House.
He is an accomplished songwriter/composer and skilled in home production for music, voiceover and audiobooks.
