Richard is an actor, writer, musician, producer from Bangor N Ireland. He has worked across Theatre, TV, Film and Radio for over 25 years. He graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in French/Spanish and trained as an actor at the Royal Welsh College, Cardiff. Career highlights include playing Jimmy Gralton in Jimmy’s Hall at the Abbey, Rick Turner in “The Fall” and most recently writing and producing his own critically acclaimed one man show, “How to Bury a Dead Mule” for the Edinburgh Fringe 2023. He is currently developing a script about the N Irish blues singer Ottilie Patterson and a new one man show about his childhood. He was recently shortlisted for the Mairtín Crawford Short Story Award.
He is an accomplished songwriter/composer and skilled in home production for music, voiceover and audiobooks.
